Rusty. Trying to get back to drawing. Will do some more focused anatomy drawings next round. I could certainly push the pose a bit more and work on my torso anatomy.

Japanese rock garden from ref & environment based on a place I drove by the other day

Line → Basic Value Structure → Rendering Tried out a new workflow. I can certainly refine the process and be more cleanly with my brushstrokes. Overall I'm satisfied with it. Things to work on next time: - Brushstroke Efficiency - Textures - Edges

Worked through some CtrlPaint exercises to try different sketching techniques w/ some basic objects.

Big fan of Steve Huston's work, his figures have so much energy and rhythm. I was ecstatic to find out he has an awesome Figure Drawing For Artists book. It's much different from the traditional Loomis & Bridgeman books I had used prior to finding it. Definitely enjoying it so far. Here be some head sketches -
